Realme GT 2 Series Global Launch To Happen At MWC 2022

Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT 2 Series globally on February 28. The company has confirmed that it will bring the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT2 Pro to MWC Barcelona, which is on 28th February. The series launched in China last year.

Realme GT 2 Series Expected Price

The global pricing is expected to be on the same lines as the China pricing. The base model of Realme GT 2 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 2599 yuan (Rs. 30,312). While the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 2799 yuan (Rs. 32,613). The price of the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is 3099 yuan (Rs. 36, 105).

If we talk about Realme GT 2 Pro then the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 3699 yuan (Rs.43,076), while the 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant costs 3999 yuan (Rs. 46,567). The 12GB RAM+256GB storage model costs 4299 yuan (Rs. 50,057) while the highest variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 4799 yuan (Rs. 55,925).

Realme GT 2 Series Specs

Realme GT 2 Pro sports a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED screen with LTPO 2.0 Technology that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It also has HDR10+ and LTPO 2.0 tech with an adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 120Hz. It has a touch sampling rate of 1000Hz.

The GT 2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset while the GT 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC.

In the camera department, a 50MP triple rear camera setup will be available on both phones. While the Pro will get a 32MP selfie camera, the regular one will get a 16MP selfie camera. Both the smartphones will have a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.

Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro come with Diamond Ice Core Cooling System Plus. They will run Android 12 out of the box. More will be known when the smartphone launch on 28 February.
