Realme GT 5G goes official with Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120Hz screen, LPDDR5 RAM

Realme unveiled its first flagship smartphone of 2021 – the Realme GT 5G at the Full-Spped Ahead launch event. The Realme 2021 flagship driven by a Snapdragon 888 chipset. The Realme GT 5G key highlights include a 120Hz sAMOLED display, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and 64MP triple camera setup.

Realme GT Features

Realme GT is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset supporting 5G connectivity. The storage option includes 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. 

Upfront of the Realme GT 5G flaunts a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED E4 display with a punch-hole cutout. It’s a full HD+ panel with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.

For photography, Realme GT features a triple camera setup with an LED flash. The rear camera includes a 64MP Sony IMX682 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 109-degree Field of View, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera lets you click selfies with its 16MP snapper. 

Realme GT draws power from a 4500mAh battery which is bundled with a 65W fast charger within the box. The 65W charger takes only 35 minutes to refill the large battery completely. As for Connectivity options, the Realme GT supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme GT Price and Availability

Realme GT is priced at 2,899 Yuan (around INR 32,600) for its 8GB + 128GB version and the 12GB + 256GB is priced at 3,399 Yuan (around INR 38,200). The phone ships with interesting color options of Galaxy Warships, Deep-sea Airships, and Dawn (yellow leatherette). The phone is available for sale in China.
