Realme GT Neo 2 launch date confirmed on Twitter

Realme GT Neo 2 will launch in India on October 13, according to a press release and a microsite on the company’s website. The device will be launched through a virtual event that will take place on Realme’s official channel.

In addition to the microsite dedicated to the India variant, the rumor mill has also leaked out some specs related to the Realme GT Neo 2. Upon entering the market, Realme indicated that its smartphone would have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC and an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

On October 13 at 12:30 pm IST, Realme will launch the Realme GT Neo 2 through its YouTube and Facebook channels. Furthermore, the microsite confirms some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The price has not yet been announced.

Realme GT Neo 2 Features

The Realme GT Neo 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC, according to the microsite. Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with a stainless steel vapor cooling system that reduces the core temperature of the processor by up to 18 degrees Celsius.

There is expected to be onboard storage of up to 256GB combined with a 12-GB RAM option. It also mentions that the next smartphone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and 65W supercharger with SuperDart Charge support.

It will feature a Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 600Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The display is also expected to use 15 percent less power.

Three color options will be available for the Realme GT Neo 2.

In terms of other specifications, we can compare it to the Chinese variant released in September. The triple rear camera setup included a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Indian variant is likely to have similar specifications.
