Here’s all that you can expect from the Realme GT Neo 5 Series

Realme is all set to launch the next in the GT Neo series. The brand is hosting an event on 5th January 2023 wherein it will launch the Realme GT Neo 5 Series. The high-end variant will be the first smartphone to have 240W fast charging as the series is expected to include 2 models. Some specs and features of the GT Neo 5 Series have also surfaced online.

Realme GT Neo 5 Series: Expectations

The Realme GT Neo 5 line-up is expected to have 2 smartphones- GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5 Pro. One of these was spotted on Weibo which revealed that the smartphone will feature a Sony IMX890 main camera sensor. The poster also reveals that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and support 240W fast charging. Only the Pro variant is expected to get 240W fast charging. The standard model is said to have 150W fast charging for a 5000mAh battery. Whereas the 240W smartphone will pack a 4600mAh battery.

Some design renders were shared exclusively by Smartprix which showed a triple camera setup at the back. The device was seen in white color.

The Realme GT Neo 5 is said to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. It might have a 144Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. An RGB lighting mechanism is also expected on the GT Neo 5 along with plastic framing. The brand might launch Realme UI 4.0 on Android 13 out of the box as well.

More details will be confirmed soon as the launch date is not too far away. India launch is also expected to take place in January 2023.
