Earlier in December 2022, we exclusively shared the very first look of Realme GT Neo 5 with the world. And now, the company has confirmed its existence by teasing its massive 240W rapid charging capability.

Currently, iQOO 10 Pro leads the top charging speed leaderboard with support of 200W. The iQOO 10 Pro battery goes from zero to a hundred in 10 minutes.

Now, The Realme GT Neo 5 will dethrone the iQOO 10 Pro from the top position by using the 240W charging technology, which will refill it completely in 7 to 8 minutes, while Realme has not specified the charging time.
The smartphone will debut in China in February before selling in more territories, most likely including India.

According to the rumour, Realme will employ a 240W dual GaN micro charging head to reach the highest power density in the sector of 2.34W/CC. A GaN charger is made of gallium nitride rather than the more typical silicon for those unaware. It improves chargers’ effectiveness and energy efficiency.

Realme GT Neo 5 specifications

The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen on the Realme GT Neo 5 will have a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage power the smartphone.
