Recently, the rumor mill has been swirling with information about the purported Realme GT Neo 6. According to recent leaks, it was the only smartphone with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC that offered 120W fast charging. However, a new leak from one of the most trusted sources claims otherwise. Here’s everything we know about the Realme GT Neo 6.

Realme GT Neo 6 Chipset Details Leaked

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT Neo 6 will feature the newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. For those catching up, the chipset is based on the same fabrication technology as the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, it offers slightly less power, as its prime core has a lower clock speed.

The tipster also predicted that the GT Neo 6 will be the only smartphone with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and over 100W wired charging capability. This doesn’t align with previous reports stating that the handset would feature 120W wired charging. Nonetheless, the phone is also tipped to feature a 5,500 mAh battery.

Other smartphones powered by the chipset, including the Redmi Turbo 3 and the iQoo Z9 Turbo, have a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 90W and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging speeds, respectively. From what it looks like, the manufacturers must limit the charging speed to maintain optimum temperatures.

Realme GT Neo 6: Expected Specifications

First, the smartphone is said to flaunt a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate. Further, it is expected to support a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, the highest on any smartphone we know. The handset could ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Regarding optics, the smartphone could feature a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization. Out of the box, the phone could run on the Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
