Realme lines up GT Series at front for Android 12 update

Realme GT series will be the first smartphone to receive Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12, launching in India soon. Realme UI 3.0 will soon be available for other smartphones running Android 12. A new operating system will also be released soon worldwide and was announced a couple of weeks ago. However, Realme does not provide an exact launch date for Realme UI 3.0.

Realme’s latest version of Android — Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12 — is scheduled to launch soon. According to the company, the Realme GT series will be among the first to receive the stable version of Realme UI. Other Realme smartphones are expected to follow suit soon. The company has announced that users will soon have access to its community forum where they can download the update.

In Realme UI 3.0, the entire UI will be refreshed, with an improved experience compared to the outgoing OS – Realme UI 2.0. The UI will improve upon functionality, fluency, customizability, security, and privacy. Realme has also stated that Realme UI has surpassed 100 million users worldwide

Realme Vice President Xu Qi Chase announced the Realme UI 3.0 at the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2. Realme is reported to launch the new operating system in October, but no date has been given. We will also announce the list of Realme smartphones that will receive the update this month. Moreover, it is said that the new Realme UI 3.0 will incorporate some features found on ColorOS 12, the operating system from its parent company Oppo. In addition to improved privacy and security features, the Realme UI will also feature a new design.
