The Chinese smartphone manufacturer realme is gearing up to start 2026 with a host of new devices for the Indian consumers. Until yesterday, the list included the realme 16 Pro, the realme 16 Pro+, and the realme Buds Air 8 (with ANC). However, the brand has now also confirmed the launch of its new Android tablet, the Pad 3.

realme Pad 3 Launch Date

Alongside the other products, realme India will launch the Pad 3 (successor to the Pad 2) on January 6, 2026. For now, the company is marketing the product as the “smartest tablet for students,” or a device that provides “smart learning, less charging,” indicating that students remain a key demographic for the brand.

The realme Pad 3 will be available on the company’s official website and Flipkart, as with other products. However, we don’t yet have clarity on the product’s pricing. For those catching up, the baseline realme Pad 2 currently sells in India for around Rs. 15,000. If Pad 3 justifies enough upgrades over its predecessor, the company could also increase the price.

The realme Pad 3 will offer several AI-based features to help users with note-taking, summarizing lectures, organizing information, and answering questions about study materials. Furthermore, the device will come with a notebook-inspired display.

realme Pad 3 Specifications (Leaked)

According to a latest leak, the realme Pad 3 will feature an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD display with a peak brightness of 500 nits. Under the hood, it will run on the Dimensity 7300 Max SoC. Finally, the tablet could feature an 8MP rear camera and an additional 8MP selfie camera.

The tablet could be powered by a 12,200 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging. Like OnePlus, realme will also introduce several accessories for the Pad 3, including a keyboard and a stylus (which might be offered to early buyers as a complementary accessory).
