Realme shows off 240W fast charging for GT 3 ahead of the launch at MWC 2023

Mobile World Congress 2023 is just around the corner and various tech giants are gearing up to showcase new concepts and innovations during the event. Realme has already confirmed that it will launch Realme GT3 with 240W fast charging capability globally on February 28. Now the brand has released a video that shows off this fast-charging tech live.

Realme GT 3: 240W charging

The Realme GT3 will pack a 4600mAh battery with 240W Fast charging speed. The video shows this 4600mAh battery charging in under 10 minutes. The actual charging time from 0 to 100% is just 9 minutes and 37 seconds.

The video shows the battery charge percentage goes up very quickly. It is taking just 80 seconds to get from a flat battery to 20%. The 4-minute mark shows the battery charged to 50% and then it hits 100% in 5 more minutes.

Realme GT Neo 5 also showcased this 240W charging tech wherein a 150W model is also available. It is not clear if Realme GT3 will also have a 5000mAh battery with lesser charging speed or will the brand go for a 240W model only. This will become clear when the smartphone actually launches on 28th February 2023.

Realme GT3: Expected specs

The Realme GT3 might sport a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chipset with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP additional lens. There is a 16MP front camera as well.

The Realme GT3 is expected to be one of the major attractions during the Mobile World Congress 2023.
