Madhav Sheth, Realme India CEO, has teased the launch of a smartphone equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G processor in the country. The upcoming device is hinted to be an X-series phone, likely to be called the Realme X7 Max.

With this phone, Realme will become the first brand to bring the Dimensity 1200 SoC to India. Since the name of the phone is still not revealed, it is believed that the company could revamp Realme GT Neo as Realme X7 Max for India. Realme GT Neo launched in China is the first device across the world to feature this latest processor from MediaTek.

Madhav announced the arrival of the Realme phone with Dimensity 1200 at the end of the Realme 8 5G launch event. Before that, several rumors had suggested that Realme X7 Max could make its entry in India as a rehashed X7 Pro Ultra with the Dimensity 1000+ processor. But it seems like the company has other plans.

As mentioned above, we strongly believe that Realme X7 Max is on its way as a rebranded Realme GT Neo.
