Redmi 13C 5G Appears on IMEI Database Hinting Imminent Launch

The Redmi 12C arrived last December and since then, Xiaomi has been launching a few new models. Cut to now, Redmi 13C 5G has been spotted on the IMEI database marking its imminent launch in the country. Powered by Dimensity 6100+ SoC, the Redmi 13C 5G is accompanied by a 4G variant aptly dubbed Redmi 12C 4G powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Let’s explore more about the duo.

According to a report by Xiaomiui, Redmi 13C 5G has been spotted in India with model number 23124RN87I. As in the case of Xiaomi, there’s a different Redmi 13C 5G variant for Chinese and global markets bearing model numbers 23124RN87C and 23124RN87G, respectively.

Moving forward, we have model numbers 23100RN82L, 23108RN04Y, and 23106RN0DA for Xiaomi Redmi 13C 4G, which will be available in China only. It is because the phone will be rebadged as POCO C65 in India with model number 2310FPCA4I and in global markets with model number 2310FPCA4G.

Xiaomi Redmi 13C 4G, Redmi 13C 5G Specifications (Expected)

Xiaomi Redmi 13C 4G (or POCO C65) is expected to host a Helio G85 SoC along with Android 13-powered MIUI 14. The device will bring onboard a 50MP primary cam probably with a depth and macro setup (triple cameras). On the contrary, Redmi 13C 5G will be powered by Dimensity 6100+ SoC clubbed with Android 13-powered MIUI 14.

When it comes to the design, Redmi 13C shares a resemblance to Redmi 12 rather than Redmi 12C. A cut-out for its selfie camera takes center stage with noticeable bezels. There are two circular rings enclosing a triple camera setup with the primary sensor being 50MP as per the inscription. The render shows a 3.5mm headphone jack, Type-C port, and availability in three colorways – Green, Black, and Blue.

Redmi 13C 5G’s appearance on the IMEI database calls for a near launch as the next-gen device is almost due.
