Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has announced the launch date of its upcoming entry-level 5G smartphone for India: the Redmi 15A 5G.
Redmi 15A 5G Launch Date Confirmed

The Redmi 15A will go official in India on March 27, 2026. It will be available to purchase in three colors: Black, Blue, and Pink. Other design elements include flat panels, rounded edges, a rectangular camera module on the back, and a punch-hole camera at the front.
Redmi has also published the smartphone’s microsite, revealing key specifications.
Redmi 15A 5G: Key Specifications Teased

Regarding the specifications, the company has confirmed a 120Hz display on the handset, calling it the “segment’s largest and smoothest display.” However, as seen in the teaser image, the phone will launch with thick bezels, including a particularly thick one at the bottom.
Although the chipset’s name hasn’t been revealed, it’s going to be an octa-core chip (a great way to tease your smartphone’s performance, Redmi).
Things are a little clearer about the battery. The Redmi 15A will feature a 6,300 mAh battery, which could provide at least eight to nine hours of screen-on time, if the company has optimized the software enough.
