Today, the Xiaomi sub-brand has launched multiple products in India. With the Redmi 8A Dual, the brand has brewed the low-end tussle. If you’d recall, Redmi had announced the new arrival on the premiere day of its close competition – Realme C3 (review).

Now since none of its teasers spilled any beans, you’ll be curious to know about its features, specs and how it stacks up against the alternative. Alongside the phones, the company took the stage to unveil the Redmi Power Bank. So, come let’s have a look at all the new announcements.

Redmi 8A Dual highlights

Redmi 8A Dual launched in India

The Redmi 8A Dual adopts an Aura X Grip design which stands apart thanks to a textured mesh feel. It will be out in Sea Blue, Sky White and Black colors.

The display is still a 6.22-inch LCD panel. The device retains the p2i nano-coating and thus is advertised to be splash-proof.

While the remaining specs stay the same as the Redmi 8A, the new things include USB-C port and VoWI-Fi. Oh yeah, the rear camera setup is now 13MP+2MP with Google Lens support.

Redmi Power Banks features

Xiaomi advertises the new power banks as “smooth, suave, powerful”. There’s a 10,000mAh power source backed by 10W fast charging, and a larger 20,000mAh power bank supports 18W fast charging. They are equipped with dual USB Type-A ports.

Redmi 8A Dual launched in India

  • Redmi 8A Dual 2GB + 32GB model is priced at Rs 6,499, while the higher 3GB+ 32GB edition comes at Rs 6,999. The sale will begin on February 18 via mi.com and Amazon India.
  • The 10,000mAh Redmi Power Bank would cost you Rs 1,299, while the 20,000mAh power bank is priced at Rs 1,499.
