Redmi Earbuds S arrives in India priced at Rs. 1799

Xiaomi has finally unveiled the Redmi Earbuds S true wireless earphones in India. If you’re wondering, yeah, it appears to be a rebranded AirDots S which had debuted in China earlier this year. Regardless, now that it has arrived, we’ve got a new option in the budget TWS market.

So, let’s see what the Earbuds S brings to the table.

Redmi Earbuds S features

It sports a bean-ish design with black paint. The Earbuds S are extremely lite at mere 4.1 grams each. These are IPX4-rated for wear protection against sweat and drizzle.

It packs a 7.2mm driver and on the wireless side of things, you have Bluetooth 5.0. Redmi lures in gamers with low latency promise.

The earphones claim to eke out 4 hours of juice and when that’s coupled with the charging case, expect up to 12 hours of runtime.

Amongst other things, you also get a multi-functioning button to control music, calls and voice assistants, ambient noise reduction thanks to Realtek RTL8763BFR Bluetooth chip, and also an option to use the earphones individually.
