Redmi K20 phone confirmed, could land as Poco F2 in India

Ever since the Snapdragon 855 powered Redmi was teased by Xiaomi, the leaks and rumors related to phone started piling up information on the web. The company is set to introduce this Redmi Snapdragon 855 phone as a budget flagship. While has been some debate among Mi fans over what could be its offical name, the company has officially announced that it will be called Redmi K20.

Earlier, Ishan Agarwal, a trusted tipster tweeted the phones to be called as K20 and K20 Pro at least in their homeland. Both the phones could sport three color variants- Carbon Fiber Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red. Aesthetically, we look forward to a design update meeting the 2019 trends. Redmi has been promising so far with its recent launches.

Further, it is revealed that the Redmi K20 will ship in three variants- 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. As for the bigger Redmi K20 Pro, it could come in four variants- 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. As long as their decently priced, we would not mind storage or memory options.

Lu Weibing, GM Redmi earlier put out a Weibo post asking fans what should be the name of the upcoming Redmi phone. He gave four choices – Redmi X20, Redmi P20, Redmi K20 or Redmi T20. His posts in the Chinese microblog site points at a gaming-optimized phone, which most of the phones are these days. As per him, the upcoming Redmi phones could feature NFC and wireless charging which are always nice-to-haves.

Other looming spec rumors are 6.39-inch AMOLED notch-free display with a pop-up front camera housing a 20MP sensor. At the back, Redmi K20 phone(s) could flaunt a camera triplet comprising of- a 48MP primary sensor + 8MP ultrawide sensor and 16MP telephoto lens. Under the hood, they might bear a 4000mAh battery that supports a 27W fast charging.

As far as speculations go, we might witness the presence of in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack also. There are so rumors that suggest that the Redmi K20 could land in India as Poco F2. This and above specs and features are not confirmed by the company so, we are sharing posting them with a pinch of salt.
