Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has been working on the next K Series, that is the Redmi K60 Series of smartphones for a while now. The series is expected to include Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E. Although earlier there was news that the series will launch in 2023, the latest we hear is that the smartphone series might be launching this year itself. Though Redmi has not confirmed anything directly, a post on Weibo suggests that the K60 Series will be launching on 27th December in China. The same was teased by Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing during an event.

Redmi K60 Series Expected Specs

The Redmi K60 pro is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset while the Redmi K60 vanilla model might have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The display will offer a 2K resolution.

The Redmi K60 vanilla model might sport a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and sport a triple camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP). For selfies, it will have a 16MP lens and pack a 5500mAh battery with 67W wired and 30W wireless fast charging.

The Redmi K60E is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset. More details will be known as the launch date inches closer.
