Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 12 series in India, that consists of three phones – Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, etc. In a recent development, tipster Kacper Skrzypek has suggested that Xiaomi is probably working on a new phone from the series named Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition. It is being said that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo carries the codename Marble. Another major revelation regarding the same is that the device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Speculations are that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will first make its debut in the Chinese market, followed by the Indian and global launch of the device. The rumors and leaks related to the specification and features of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition are not that prominent. Expectations are that we will get to know more about the smartphone as soon as there is an announcement regarding the official launch of the same.

What can we expect?

Considering the fact that there has been no detail regarding the specs and other details until now, we can only guess what the phone will bring to the table or what we want to see. First things first, the name of the smartphone suggests to us that the ‘Turbo’ thing is loosely related to a kind of fast charging support. Who knows, the device could be the reply of Xiaomi to 240W charging tech in the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5.

Redmi also launched the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition in the Chinese market too. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display coupled with a 120HZ refresh rate. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with Adreno 642L GPU. We can expect the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition to offer better specifications and features than the Speed Edition.
