After releasing the Redmi 15C in India, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is preparing to reveal another smartphone, this time in the Note series. The Redmi Note 15 5G Master Pixel Edition (yes, it has something to do with the camera) will launch in India in January 2026.

Redmi Note 15 5G Master Pixel Edition Launch Date

According to the product’s Amazon microsite, the Redmi Note 15 5G will debut in India on January 6, 2026. However, the microsite simply displays the phone’s moniker and a “Notify Me” button; no other information about the phone is provided.

Regarding the “Master Pixel Special Edition” moniker, it could refer to the 108MP primary camera, while “special edition” could denote a particular color or finish.

Redmi Note 15 5G Master Pixel Edition Features

First and foremost, the smartphone is said to feature a curved-screen display, which could give it an upmarket feel. Interestingly, the phone could also feature a metal frame, along with a power button and volume rockers on the right side.

According to notable Indian tipster Yogesh Brar, the Redmi Note 15s could come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen (120Hz refresh rate), run on a Snapdragon chip, likely a Snapdragon 7 series chip (but it could also be a ‘6’ series chip), and feature a 108MP primary camera, which could give it an edge over its competitors in the segment.

Out of the box, the Redmi Note 15 5G can run HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. Furthermore, the handset could draw power from a 5,500 mAh battery, which seems underwhelming, especially when entry-level midrange phones now come with 7,000 mAh batteries.

Regarding dimensions, the phone could measure 164 x 75.42 x 7.35mm, making it slightly slimmer than other options. This could be the first smartphone in the Redmi Note 15 series to arrive in India, with other variants, including the Pro and Pro+, coming soon.

Leaks suggest the company has multiple Redmi Note phones in the pipeline, including the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G (Italy) and the Redmi Note 15 Pro (Germany). The former features a 6.77-inch OLED screen, the Helio G200 chip, and a 200MP primary camera (globally), while the latter features a Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip and a 200MP primary camera.
