Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 15 in India, along with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. This is Redmi’s first major launch of the year in the country. The lineup includes the Redmi Note 15 for now, with the Redmi Note 15 Pro series launching next month.

Interestingly, the Note 15 smartphones come with a software commitment of 4 major Android updates and 6 years of security updates. The Pad goes even further 5 OS + 7 years of security updates. Sales begin today via mi.com, Amazon, and offline Xiaomi retail stores across India. 

Launch offers include up to ₹3,000 instant bank discount for the Note 15 and ₹2,000 for the Redmi Pad 2 Pro.

Redmi Note 15 5G Specifications

The Redmi Note 15 5G comes with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and up to 3,200 Nits peak brightness. It also carries TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It packs a 5,520 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The rear camera setup includes a 108 MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front, there is a 16 MP camera. Video recording goes up to 4K at 30 FPS with EIS on the rear.

Other features include IP66 dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, a 7.35 mm slim body (7.4 mm on the Mist Purple), and a weight of around 178 grams. Color options are Mist Purple, Black, and Glacier Blue.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro Specifications

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro sports a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10 support, and quad speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos.

It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, which is expandable via microSD card. The tablet packs a 12,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 27W reverse charging support.

Camera hardware includes an 8 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera, aimed mainly at video calls and online meetings.

Other features include optional stylus and keyboard support sold separately, IP52 rating, multi-window productivity modes, HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 with 5 OS and 7 years of security updates, a weight of around 610 grams, and color options of Graphite Gray and Silver.
