Redmi Note 9 India Launch Likely on March 12; Here’s what to expect

Xiaomi has teased the Redmi Note 9 India launch with #ILoveRedmiNote hashtag through its official social media pages. Xiaomi’s dedicated Redmi sub-brand page posted a teaser video featuring its brand ambassador actor Ranveer Singh showing his excitement for the upcoming Redmi Phone. A few hours later, Redmi India posted a tester post with #RedmiNote hashtag and 9 clearly numerical nine in illustration in the image.

The image has a mention of March 12, 2020, confirming the Redmi Note 9 India launch date.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Launch: What to expect?

Xiaomi will be pulling out all stops in the Redmi Note 9 series to live up to widely popular Redmi Note series legacy. Last Redmi Note series phones – Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro both have been immensely popular in the budget segment.

At the Qualcomm event, Xiaomi announced that it will be coming up with Snapdragon 720G based phone in India soon. It seems that Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 will be that phone. Xiaomi teams recent show up at ISRO also suggests that the Redmi Note 9 is likely to support ISRO’s NavIC geolocation system.

As for the optics, four rear cameras, which in all probability likely to be led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Xiaomi is likely to also introduce a higher refresh rate screen in under Rs 15,000 segment with Redmi Note 9. Xiaomi has been offering IPS screen in Redmi Note series and is likely to persist with that trend. It is likely to be a punch-hole display featuring selfie camera.

The upcoming Redmi Note series phone may include a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging support. Xiaomi is keeping most of the Redmi Note 9 related cards close to its chest and is likely to reveal more in the coming days as we inches towards the launch.
