Redmi Turbo 3 to launch in China on April 10: Renders reveal ultra-sleek design

Tech giant Xiaomi is all set to launch two new products in its home country China under Redmi branding. The brand has confirmed that it will roll out Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone and Redmi Pad Pro Tablet in China on 10th April via a launch event. Redmi Turbo 3 will be Xiaomi’s second smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset after the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

Recently, some official renders of Redmi Turbo 3 surfaced online, which showcase the ultra-sleek design. It has flat edges and the thickness is a mere 7.8mm. The device will weigh 179 grams.

Redmi Turbo 3: Design Unveiled

The official images shared by Redmi showcase that the Turbo 3 smartphone will have dual speakers. There will be an IR blaster at the top and it will come in green, black, and gold color variants. Redmi claims that thanks to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the device will offer flagship-level performance at an affordable price.

Redmi Turbo 3: Specs (confirmed & expected)

Redmi Turbo 3 is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It will most likely be LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Reports claim that the affordable smartphone will flaunt a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature a 20MP selfie camera and a triple camera setup at the back, including a 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensor. Under the hood, the Redmi Turbo 3 is said to have a 5000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging capability. Redmi is said to run HyperOS layered Android 14 on this one.

Redmi Turbo 3 might come as a rebranded Poco F6 in global markets.

Redmi Pad Pro Tablet

Redmi Pad Pro will be Redmi’s third tablet after Redmi Pad and Redmi Pad SE. It will come with support for accessories like a keyboard and stylus. At the back will be two sensors while the edges will house a USB-C port, four speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Pad Pro will arrive in black, white, and light violet colors.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Pad Pro will have a 12.1-inch LCD with 2.5k resolution. It will have a 10,000mAh battery and run HyperOS-based Android OS. The Pad is expected to be powered by a 4nm chipset with an AnTuTu score of 650,000.

Redmi Pad Pro might get rebranded as Poco’s first-ever tablet in global markets.
