Redmi is all set to expand its wearable lineup in the country. Redmi Watch 5 Active launch date has been set as 27th August. It is the successor to Redmi Watch 3 Active and the microsite for Watch 5 Active has already gone live revealing details. Alongside the Redmi Watch 5 Active, Xiaomi will also announce the Xiaomi X Pro QLED Smart TV Series in India.

Redmi Watch 5 Active: Details

A teaser shared by Xiaomi India shows Redmi Watch 5 Active will have a square dial with a physical button on the right. It will come in black and silver hues and have an 18-day battery life. The Redmi Watch 5 Active will run Xiaomi HyperOS for connectivity and also support built-in Alexa for convenience. The microsite reveals Redmi Watch 5 Active will boast a 2-inch ultra-large display with Clear+ Bluetooth Calling and 140+ Sports Modes. It might be an LCD panel this time, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the fitness tracker will be able to track over 140 sports and be more accurate this time around.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active is expected to cost under Rs. 5000 in the country. The launch of the Redmi Watch 5 Active was confirmed by Redmi via its social media handle X where it shared a post announcing the launch date.
