Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance had confirmed that Reliance Jio is working on making Jio Phone 5G that will aim to provide a 5G experience to Indians at affordable prices. This is the reason Jio Phone 5G has been much anticipated in the country. While speculations are strong that Reliance will launch Jio Phone 5G around Diwali this year, the company has been tight-lipped about the same.

Today, a Twitter user shared some images that he claims are live images of Jio Phone 5G. The user has also shared the launch date and information about the chipset of the device. Read on to know more.

Jio Phone 5G: Live Images

A Twitter User Arpit Patel has shared some images via his handle that he claims are Live Images or Jio Phone 5G. In these images, Jio Phone 5G can be seen with a black back panel and a dual camera setup at the back. The display is visible in one image that has a waterdrop notch at the top. The authenticity of these images can’t be vouched for as there has been absolutely no information about the device from any other source.

Jio Phone 5G: Price & Launch Date

The Twitter user has claimed that Jio Phone 5G will be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India and the phone will launch between Diwali and New Year.

Jio Phone 5G: Expected Specs

The tweet also includes some expected specs of the device. Jio Phone 5G might be powered by Unisoc 5G chipset or a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. The rear panel might feature 13MP main and a 2MP secondary camera while the front is expected to get a 5MP selfie lens.

Earlier reports claimed that the Jio Phone 5G will have a 90Hz LCD display and a 5000mAh battery under the hood. It is not clear if Jio Phone 5G will be made in partnership with Google or not, but since Jio Phone last year was made in association with Google, this time also the tradition might continue.
