Rugged Amazfit Active Edge smartwatch goes official with built-in GPS at INR 12,999 in India

After launching Amazfit Active, the smartphone giant is back with another offering – Amazfit Active Edge in India. With built-in GPS and, AI workout assistant, this is a rugged smartphone capable of withstanding shocks, drops, and 10ATM of water resistance making it apt for diving up to 100 meters in depth. Amazfit Active Edge Pricing and Availability in India

The Amazfit Active Edge will hit offline retail stores from February 27. It is exclusively available online via Amazfit Store and Amazon India. The price tag on the Active Edge is INR 12,999/-. You can choose between Mint Green, Midnight Pulse, and Lava Black colorways with this epitomized rugged smartphone.

The latest Amazfit Active Edge has dimensions of 46.62 x 46.62 x 12mm and weighs 34g without the strap. It sports a 1.32” TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The display uses an anti-fingerprint coating on tempered glass and a 10ATM water resistance onboard. The rugged smartphone has a 370mAh battery that promises delivery of 16 days of battery life with typical use. You can extend it up to 24 days using battery-saving mode or get it all dried up in 10 days with heavy usage.

The Amazfit Active Edge heralds a series of health features including 24-hour continuous heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, regular steps and activity tracking as well as SpO2 monitoring to name a few. The rugged smartwatch supports multiple GPS systems including QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, and GPS. There’s also a 3-axis motion sensor, an accelerometer, and 3 PPG biometric sensors onboard.

Next up, the smartphone supports Bluetooth v5.0 and it is compatible with iOS 14.0 and above and Android v7.0 and above. It runs on Zepp OS 2.0 which is intuitive, highly customizable, and more user-friendly than the predecessor. Some of the features include offline maps, sports modes, sleep schedules, and morning updates, to name a few.

Active Edge also offers sedentary reminders, camera control, music control, Zepp Coach, race achievement predictions, smart trajectory corrections, and so on. Finally, you can choose from 100+ watch faces on the Active Edge.
