After revealing the Indian pricing of the Fold 7, Flip 7, and the Flip 7 FE, the Korean tech giant Samsung has now unveiled the pricing of the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup. It consists of two smartwatches: the vanilla Galaxy Watch8 and the Galaxy Watch8 Classic (which marks the return of the fan-favorite rotating bezel).

Galaxy Watch8 Price & Availability

Galaxy Watch8

Those who pre-order the Galaxy Watch8 will receive a bank cashback or upgrade bonus of Rs. 9,000, reducing the effective price.

Galaxy Watch8 Classic

Pre-ordering the Galaxy Watch8 Classic gets buyers Rs. 12,000 bank cashback or an upgrade bonus.

Interested buyers can pre-order the smartwatch between July 9 and July 24, 2025. In addition to the cashbacks and upgrade bonus, buyers can also avail of an 18-month NCEMI facility.

Galaxy Watch8 & Watch8 Classic Features

The Galaxy Watch8 adapts features a squircle design inspired by Samsung’s Watch Ultra. It features a circular screen housed within a square-shaped chassis with rounded edges. Further, it is 11% thinner than its predecessor, giving it a sleek look on your wrist.

The Watch8 is available in two sizes: 40mm (30 grams) with a 1.34-inch screen and 44mm (34 grams) with a 1.47-inch screen. Both screens boast a Super AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

While the former features a 325 mAh battery, the latter sports a 435 mAh battery. Like the Watch7, the Watch8 gets 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The Watch8 Classic is available in one size: 46mm (63.5 grams) with a 1.34-inch Super AMOLED screen that can achieve a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It gets a 445 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage (more than the Watch8).

Under the hood, both the smartwatches run on the Exynos W1000 (3nm) SoC. It comes pre-installed with One UI 8 Watch. Based on Google’s Wear OS 6, the user interface features multi-info tiles, introduces the Galaxy S25’s Now Bar to Samsung’s wearables, and offers new fitness-tracking features, including Running Coach, Vascular Load, Bedtime Guidance, and Antioxidant Index.

In addition to the aforementioned features, the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic are the first smartwatches to feature Google’s Gemini AI assistant, which understands natural language commands right from users’ wrists.

Both the smartwatches will go on sale starting July 25, 2025, along with the rest of the Fold 7 and Flip 7 lineup.
