Samsung announces benefits of up to ₹11,000 on Galaxy Watches with Samsung Care+ plan

Samsung India has announced a comprehensive version of protection plans for its Galaxy Watches. The company is also offering a few additional benefits in way of cashback and complementary Galaxy Buds Plus earbuds.

Samsung Care+ Plan Details

Samsung has extended its existing Samsung Care Plus plan on the purchase of Galaxy smartwatches and is calling it ‘Comprehensive Protection Plan’. The company has diversified the program into two parts – Extended Warranty and Accidental & Liquid Damage (ADLD) Protection.

The extended warranty plan offers an additional year of warranty which will technically cover mechanical and electrical defects in the smartwatch for two years. The buyers can pick the extended warranty plan starting from Rs. 999 (varying for different Galaxy Watches).

The next ADLD protection plan covers the watch against accidental screen defects and liquid damage. It will allow buyers to make one claim during the insurance period. The ADLD plan starts from Rs. 1,499 for one year. The Care Plus pack will come auto-applied on the product with the purchase.

Samsung is offering Galaxy Buds+ worth Rs. 8,990 at a price of just Rs. 1,990 with the purchase of Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2. Buyers can also enjoy a cashback of up to Rs. 4000 on select bank debit and credit cards. You can also avail extra benefits of up to Rs. 11,000 on Samsung wearables. The extended plan and offer will be available till March 31, 2021.
