Last year, Samsung released the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy A34 5G, two capable mid-range smartphones. This year, the company is said to release their successors, the Galaxy A55 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G. Although Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed these smartphones, they have visited many certification sites. Now, a known tipster has shared a promotional image of the handsets.

Tipster Shares Galaxy A55’s Promotional Image Ahead Of Launch

Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared a promotional image of what looks like a Galaxy A series smartphone in white, pink, and lime colorways. Although the tipster doesn’t mention the smartphone’s name, the image contains text that reads “Awesome,” which suggests that the phone belongs to the Galaxy A series.

Sharing the promotional image, the tipster also links back to a previous post that contains the renders of two Galaxy A series smartphones, which could be the Galaxy A55 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G. What’s interesting is that the phones seem to have a similar design. There’s a good chance they will also be available in similar colorways.

As seen in the promotional image, the Galaxy A series phones will have a triple camera setup that looks similar to the Galaxy S24 series. However, something that we haven’t seen before is a bulging island on the side frame; it houses the power and volume buttons.

We believe Samsung could reserve the lime color for the Galaxy A55 5G. Other than this, the phones have a centrally-located punch-hole camera and a relatively thick chin at the bottom.

Galaxy A55 5G And A35 5G Expected Specifications

The Galaxy A55 5G could come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ super AMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone could run on the Exynos 1480 SoC. Further, it could come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Regarding cameras, the handset could feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP macro sensor.

The Galaxy A55 5G could also come with a 5,000 mAh battery for 25W wired charging. The Galaxy A35 5G, on the other hand, could feature a similar screen, albiet with a less powerful Exynos 1380 SoC and 6GB of RAM. Last year, the company debuted its predecessors in March. Hence, it could follow a similar timeline this year, too.
