Samsung One UI 7

While the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series has received One UI 7 out of the box, other eligible Samsung devices will get this update by Q1 2025. The complete release timeline is listed below.

With One UI 7, the integration between applications has been enhanced, allowing users to seamlessly navigate without the need to search for each app individually. The AI functionality now facilitates connections across different apps. For instance, if you request a summary of content while viewing YouTube, the AI will automatically transfer the summarized information to Samsung Notepad. It is designed to comprehend user contexts and analyze preferences, thereby delivering a tailored AI experience. Notably, advancements in conversational technology have been made to create a more intuitive mobile interaction.

For users with extensive photo galleries, the AI can efficiently locate specific images by simply inputting keywords such as date and location. It also examines user behavior patterns to deliver a personalized information summary, referred to as ‘Now Brief.’ This feature provides essential updates, including sleep scores, sleep schedules, weather forecasts, recommended news articles, and more.

One UI 7 introduces significant improvements in theft protection, incorporating features such as theft detection lock, offline device lock, remote lock, and identity verification. Additionally, the series will showcase expanded AI functionalities, including advanced on-device AI capabilities that rely on hardware enhancements.
