According to Sammobile, Samsung is planning to merge its mid-range lineup comprising of Galaxy On, Galaxy J, and Galaxy C series into a single Galaxy M series. The ‘M’ moniker most probably refers to the mid-range segment, and the Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 will reportedly be the first few phones in this series.

We have curated the leaked titbits and rumors for you in this article. So, without any further ado, lets jump straight into it.

The purported model name for M10 would be SM-M105F and it would be coming out in 16GB and 32GB variant. And as per Geekbench, which is a credible source for upcoming phone leaks, M20 or SM-M205 would have 32GB and 64GB storage variants while the M30 or SM-M305 would have 64GB and 128GB as the inbuilt storage option.

Both these devices would be Dual-SIM phones. However, if they are released in the European markets, then there could be Single-SIM variants too. To reduce the cost, Samsung is likely to include LCD displays instead of AMOLED panels. The Galaxy M20 could also sport an Infinity-O display like the one in Galaxy A8s.

Reportedly, the Galaxy M20 will be fueled by a 5000-mah-battery and will thankfully retain the 3.5 mm Headphone Jack.  It would be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7885 SoC, 4GRAM and running on Android Oreo. However, Samsung might include better specs as well as Android version by the time of official launch.

According to the sources, the Galaxy M lineup is for countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Apart from M-series, Samsung will also launch more mid-range phones under its Galaxy A-series.

Both the A and M series would have dual-digit nomenclature. Galaxy A’s SM-A305F with 32GB or 64GB of storage and SM-A505F would be out in 64GB to 128GB storage options.

Yes, there isn’t much concrete information as of now, but Samsung’s roadmap will get lot clearer by the end of January 2019.
