The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and the Galaxy M06 5G are now available for sale in India. The phones offer 5G connectivity at an affordable price and have distinct characteristics. Both phones have a linear grouped camera module, a bold color palette, and maintain a slimmer profile. Both phones run on the Dimensity 6300 SoC and come in multiple RAM and storage options.

Starting from January 7, 2025, the Galaxy M16 5G will be available on sale via Amazon, Samsung’s official website, and at select retail stores.

  • Galaxy M16 5G (6GB + 128GB): Rs. 13,999
  • Galaxy M16 5G (8GB + 128GB): Rs. 15,499

As part of the introductory offer, Samsung offers a Rs. 1,000 bank cashback offer on the Galaxy M16 5G. The discount applies to all the memory and storage options of the handset.

Galaxy M06 5G

Like the Galaxy M16 5G, the Galaxy M06 5G is available online via Amazon and Samsung and offline via leading retail stores.

  • Galaxy M06 5G (4GB + 128GB): Rs. 9,999
  • Galaxy M06 5G (4GB + 128GB): Rs. 11,499

The introductory offer also applies to the Galaxy M06 5G, but it also slashes Rs. 500 from the price.

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G Key Features

While the Galaxy M16 5G ships with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, the Galaxy M06 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ screen. Under the hood, the handsets run on the Dimensity 6300 SoC.

Regarding optics, the Galaxy M16 5G features a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, the phone has a 13MP selfie shooter. The Galaxy M06 5G, on the other hand, has a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera.

Both smartphones pack a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast wired charging. For those concerned about software support, the Galaxy M16 5G will get six years of operating system and security updates, while the Galaxy M06 5G will get four years of comprehensive support.
