Samsung Galaxy M30 Is Basically M20 with AMOLED Screen and Additional Rear Camera

Samsung’s recently found love for Millenials with M-series continues as it has launched its Galaxy M30 in the Indian market. Delighted with the positive response for the Galaxy M20 (review) and Galaxy M10 (review), Samsung is looking to up the ante with the Galaxy M30 in budget-conscious buyers segment. Like the other to M-series phones, the Galaxy M30 will retail online exclusively. The M30 Key highlights include a Super AMOLED display, new gradient design, triple camera rear setup and 5000mAh with fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Pricing, Launch Offers, and Availability

Samsung is offering the Galaxy M20 successor in multiple storage and RAM variants. The Galaxy M30 price in India for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version is Rs 14,990.

Samsung also has a variant priced on the other side of Rs 15,000. The Galaxy M30 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant India price tag is Rs 17,990 making it most expensive M-series phone till date. Both variants of the M30 are offered in Gradation Black and Gradation Blue colour options. Samsung to hold its first Galaxy M30 sale on  Samsung e-shop and Amazon.in at 12pm IST (Noon) on March 7,

Samsung Galaxy M30: How is it different from Samsung Galaxy M20?

With the Galaxy M30, Samsung has also embraced in-trend new gradient design language. The phone is made of polycarbonate and has slimmer bezels around the screen. It comes with slightly larger 6.4-inch Infinity-U S-AMOLED panel display with a resolution 2210 x1080 pixels (FHD+). The Galaxy M30 screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top and comes with Widevine L1 certification, which means users can stream HD content from services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. 

As compared to Galaxy A20, Samsung has also upgraded optics. The Galaxy M30 triple camera module includes a 13MP primary camera along with a 5MP secondary ultra-wide sensor, the third 5MP depth sensor is new to the table. The front camera also brings a larger 16MP camera to the selfie scenario. Videography experience could be better with a 1080p recording at 30FPS.

Under the hood, the similarities stay with an Exynos 7904 chipset and 5000mAh power cell. Like the Galaxy M20, it also runs on Android Oreo-based Experience 9.5 UI. Samsung also bundles that same 15W fast charger. Other similarities between the Galaxy M30 and M20 includes a rear fingerprint scanner, face unlock and support for a microSD card (up to 512GB).
