Samsung introduced the Galaxy M56 5G in India today. This mid-ranger features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. With a sleek profile measuring just 7.2mm, it is reported to be 30 percent thinner than the 7.8mm thickness of its predecessor, the Galaxy M55 5G, which was launched in April 2024.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy M56 5G boasts 36 percent slimmer bezels and a display that is 33 percent brighter compared to the previous model.

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G: Price & Availability

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage version with offers. It will go on sale on 23rd April via Amazon and Samsung.com. Buyers with HDFC Bank Cards will get Rs. 3000 instant discount.

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G will be available in Light Green and Black shades.

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1480 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It sports a 6.73-inch sAMOLED+ Vision Booster display that is 33% brighter than other displays. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the device on the back and front, offering 4x better scratch resistance and 2.0m fall endurance. It is the sleekest phone in the segment with a thickness of 7.2mm and comes with powerful AI tools like Object Eraser, Image Clipper, Edit Suggestions, and more.

In terms of camera, Galaxy M56 5G features a triple lens setup at the back including a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensor. At the front is a 12MP flagship-grade sensor for sharper and clearer output. Under the hood, Galaxy M56 5G packs a 5000mAh battery with a 45W wired charging speed. Samsung has promised 6 Gen OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches, and runs Android 15 on the Galaxy M56 5G.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 180 grams.
