Samsung is said to be advancing the launch of its S21 lineup to January, which is a few months earlier than usual. We have already seen the CAD renders of the vanilla S21 and S21 Ultra and got a look at their speculated screen size, dimensions, and design. Interestingly enough, the Ultra variant is tipped to support S Pen input too. Now a new report has surfaced revealing even more details.

Come, take a look —

Samsung Galaxy S21 series: Specs (alleged)

Starting off with the front, the 6.2″ S21 and 6.7″ S21+ will reportedly have FHD+ LTPS panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 6.8″ Ultra has a larger QHD+ (2K) resolution display with a 120Hz adaptive frequency.

The display will support S Pen input. However, the stylus won’t be shipped in the box and the phone won’t be having a hole to dock it. Rather, you’ll have to purchase a carry case from Samsung for it.

By the back, the camera stack of the S21 and S21 Plus will be holding a 12MP primary sensor, along with a 12MP ultrawide and a 64MP telephoto lens. The Ultra, on the other hand, will be boasting a 108MP premier (2nd gen sensor), coupled with a 12MP ultrawide snapper, and two 10MP telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom-ability respectively. Thanks to the 10x optical lens (with 130% larger pixels and laser autofocus) Samsung will be bringing back 100x Space Zoom, supposedly with sharper focus.

All the rear cameras (even Super Steady mode) will facilitate 4K60fps with a smart switch between 30 and 60 frames depending on ambient light. There’ll be also 8K 30fps support, enhanced pro controls, night mode, moon mode, and a dual recording mode, wherein you’ll be able to shoot with both front and rear camera simultaneously.

Unlock the devices and inside, you’ll find the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 software. This will be laid on top of Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100, depending on the region. Both of these are expected to be 5nm silicon with 8-cores held in a tri-cluster layout (supposedly 1x Cortex X1, 3x Cortex A78, and 4x Cortex A55). On the GPU side, the Qualcomm chip is likely to feature Adreno 660 and Mali-G78 on the Samsung one. Samsung is reportedly ditching its in-house Mongoose chip from Exynos. And the result is rumored to be “on-par or better than” the Snapdragon, performance-wise. It is also called a power-efficient chip than precursors.

Speaking of battery, the reported battery sizes of S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra are 4,000 mAh, 4,800 mAh, and 5,000 mAh respectively with at least 25W fast charging support.
