Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 Series consisting of 3 devices- Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra earlier this year and it seems that the brand is not yet done with the Galaxy S22 Series as it is planning to come up with the Galaxy S22 FE smartphone on February 1 alongside the Galaxy S23 Series.

Earlier there were speculations that the brand has canceled not only the A7x Series but also the Fan Edition lineup, but Samsung did not confirm any of those rumors. Now, fresh reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE is indeed happening and it will be launched along with the Galaxy S23 Series on the 1st of February 2023.

Samsung Galaxy S22 FE tipped

Tipster RGcloudS claims that Samsung might host an Unpacked Part 2 event to launch the Galaxy S22 FE device. The tipster also claims that it will replace the Galaxy A74 5G which has been canceled. Earlier there were reports that Samsung has canceled the A7x lineup and the A54 5G will headline the Galaxy A-Series in the future. Since the Galaxy A7x series was quite close to the FE model in terms of price in various markets, it is possible that Samsung might give the A7x series experience in FE devices.

Galaxy Buds 2 is also tipped to launch soon, however, tipster Dohyun Kim claims that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has been killed. S22 FE will be the last in the FE lineup.

Samsung Galaxy S22 FE: Expected specs

The upcoming Fan Edition device is expected to be powered by a new processor and feature a new camera sensor. The SoC is claimed to be based on a 4nm process and is also expected to power the Galaxy Tab S8 FE (Samsung’s premium tablet offering).

The Galaxy S22 FE is expected to feature a 108MP HM6 sensor. Not much is known about the other specs of the device, but if the launch gets confirmed, details will start surfacing as well.
