Samsung Galaxy S22 Series launched in India starting at Rs. 72,999

South Korean Tech Giant Samsung held its first Galaxy Unpacked event on Feb 9 wherein it launched the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series globally. The event saw specs of the 3 models -Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra being revealed.

Now, the company has officially launched the series in India. Yes, you heard it right Samsung Galaxy S22 Series is now live in India with its Indian pricing being revealed.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Series India Pricing

  • The Samsung Galaxy S22 starts at Rs. 72,999 for its base model.
  • Samsung Galaxy S22+ starts at Rs. 84,999 for the base variant.
  • Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,09,999 for the base model.

A week ago Samsung started accepting pre-orders for devices in Galaxy S22 Series by paying Rs. 1999 in India. Pre-booking customers will get a Galaxy Smart Tag for free. Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Specs

Samsung Galaxy S22

The vanilla model of the series sports a 6.1-inch full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It comes with Eye Comfort Shield for blue light control and has an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with a minimum of 8GB RAM. It runs Android 12 and One UI 4.1

Galaxy S22 has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto camera. It has a 10MP selfie camera too. It packs a 3700mAh battery under the hood with 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

The plus variant of the series sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an Eye comfort shield. It runs Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and packs a 4500mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.

There is a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 50MP dual pixel autofocus camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The device has a 10MP selfie camera too.

The top-end model in the series is the only one that supports S Pen. It has a 6.8-inch Edge QHD Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1750 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and runs on Android 12 and One UI 4.1 on top.

The device comes with Wacom technology to support enhancements to the S pen and packs a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support.
