Samsung is leaving no stone unturned with the Galaxy S23 line-up. It is working hard to elevate the user experience on its first set of flagship devices scheduled to go on sale in February. While the Galaxy S23 series will offer a design similar to the existing line-up, the upcoming Galaxy S phones are anticipated to have enhanced performance, better heat management, more base-level storage, better cameras, and longer battery life. The phones won’t, however, offer more RAM.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s top specs variant has been spotted in the Geekbench database, indicating that it will have 12GB of RAM. The device appears to run Android 13 and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. In the Geekbench tests for single-core and multi-core CPU performance, it received 1,495 and 4,647 points, respectively. According to the phone’s multi-core score, it performed worse than other smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors. The phone performed similarly to comparable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices like the Vivo X90 Pro+ and the iQOO 11 Pro in other tests.

According to reports, all Galaxy S23 series phones will have brighter displays, including the Galaxy S23. Samsung is said to implement a better cooling system in the Galaxy S23 devices, which could increase performance under continuous stress. According to rumors, Samsung has chosen to use a faster-clocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for its Prime CPU core (Cortex-X3).

Exynos-powered Samsung smartphones have yet to outperform their Snapdragon-powered equivalents in performance factor historically. Samsung launched additional Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S22 models in 2022; however, even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 had performance concerns when under sustained load due to overheating and throttling issues. The Galaxy S23 series should function admirably because the chipset has demonstrated outstanding performance in phones made by non-Samsung manufacturers.
