It is that time of the year again. Samsung is back, this time a little early with its next flagship Galaxy-S Series. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Series has just been unveiled globally and in the last few years, it includes 3 smartphones- Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. While we will talk about the highest member of the family in a separate story, let us have a look at what the other two members are offering this time.

Samsung Galaxy S24 & Galaxy S24+: Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G comes in 2 storage options-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 79,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 89,999

Those who pre-book Galaxy S24 will be able to avail benefits worth Rs. 15,000

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus comes in 2 storage configurations as well-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 99,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 1,09,999

Samsung is offering a discount of flat 5000 INR for HDFC Bank card users along with up to Rs. 12,000 exchange bonus on existing smartphones. There will be No-cost EMI plans via Samsung Finance and free storage upgrade from 256GB to 1TB which means the effective price of the 256GB model is Rs. 86,999 and of thev512GB model is Rs.87,999. Samsung has also confirmed that the smartphones will be made in India as they will be manufactured at the Noida factory. Pre-orders are now live in India.

The devices will be available from January 31st.

Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy S24+ come in Cobalt Violet, Onyx Black, Marble Grey, and Amber Yellow shades.

Samsung Galaxy S24 5G: Design & Specs

Samsung Galaxy S24 5G is powered by Exynos 2400 chipset for India. It comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

The smartphone features a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a triple camera setup at the back including a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical and 30x space zoom. At the front will be a 16MP snapper.

The Galaxy S24 will draw juice from a 4000mAh battery under the hood with 25W wired fast charging. It weighs 167 grams.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus 5G: Design & Specs

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus is powered by Exynos 2400 chipset. It comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with 1440×3120 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood is a 4900mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging capability. It weighs 196 grams and is 7.7mm thick.

This time Samsung is offering 7 years of software updates for Galaxy S24 Series smartphones, which means Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus will receive updates until Android 21.
