Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Might Use AloP Technology: Camera details tipped

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series in January 2025. The upcoming Galaxy S25 Series of smartphones is expected to include not three but four smartphones this time. The series will most likely include the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim. Earlier reports claimed that the new ‘Slim’ model will have toned-down features of the base Galaxy S25 version. Now some new details about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim have surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is tipped to get a rear camera setup at the back. Tipster Sanju Choudhary shared a post on X that claims a 1/1.56-inch 200MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor for Galaxy S25 Slim.

The other two sensors might be 1/2.76-inch 50MP ISOCELL JN5 sensors with an ultrawide lens and a telephoto shooter with 3.5x optical zoom. The tipster also claims that Galaxy S25 Slim will use Samsung’s All Lenses on Prism (AloP) camera technology. The size of the telephoto sensor might be reduced and the camera module will get slimmer with this technology.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim version might not launch with the other Galaxy S25 models in January 2025. It is expected to arrive in Q2 2025 creating a gap of around three to four months between launches.

The launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is tipped to be 23rd January in San Francisco USA. We are still waiting for Samsung to confirm the official date of its first Unpacked Event of 2025.
