Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Lineup Tipped to Launch Early 2022

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series has been in the works for a while now and the company was expected to launch this premium series of Tab this year. However, the latest reports state that the company is planning to launch the tablet lineup early in 2022. The Tab S8 line-up is expected to have 3 models- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Let us have a look at what we know about these upcoming Tablets.

Galaxy Tab S8 Series Expected Design

Tipster Evan Blass has shared some renders which give us a closer look at the 3 devices in the S8 range. According to the renders, Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ will have an identical design with thick bezels along with the power button and volume rocker on the top edge.

In the camera department, Galaxy Tab S8+ appears to be having 1 front-facing camera, one on the top bezel, and another one on the left bezel. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will have a single camera at the top bezel.

Galaxy S8 Ultra renders suggest that it might have thinner bezels as compared to other models. It appears to be having 2 front-facing cameras, one on the top bezel and another one on the left bezel.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series Expected Specs

If earlier leaks are to be believed, then the Galaxy Tab S8 series will feature displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-X906N and is said to come with a 14.6-inch OLED display. It might come in 2 storage variants- 8GB RAM+128GB storage & 12GB RAM+512GB storage. It is expected to feature 2 cameras of 13MP and 5MP at the front and pack a 12,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging under the hood. The Galaxy Tab S8+ and S8 are also rumored to support 45W fast charging.

According to some earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with an 11-inch display will come in 3 color variants- Grey, Silver, and Rose Gold. Galaxy Tab S8+  (12.4-inch) will be available in the same three color options as well while the Galaxy S8 Ultra will be available in a single Grey color variant.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset while the others are said to have Snapdragon 898. All three devices are said to have a magnetic strip under the camera module for the S-Pen.
