Next Generation Samsung Foldables in July

Just like the previous few years, the next generation of Samsung Galaxy Foldables will be the highlight of the event. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be announced which are expected to come with improvements in hardware as well as software department. Earlier there was news about Samsung working on a more affordable foldable as well, but it seems like that announcement is still far away.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 was shown off via some patented images that surfaced online. The foldable is said to get an important design change this time. Reports claim Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be 11mm thick instead of 16mm. This will make it the thinnest foldable device from Samsung to date. Moreover, there are expected upgrades in display, battery, and camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to arrive with a larger cover screen this time. The brand is planning to include various upgrades to the next-generation flip phone. These will include a higher battery capacity, better camera setup, display changes, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Ring

The first look at the Galaxy Ring was given at the end of the Unpacked Event in January. Now, Samsung has given an even better look at the wearable during the ongoing MWC 2024. The Galaxy Ring has been shown off in complete glory during the event. It has a metallic build and looks like a lightweight device that will make it comfortable to wear 24×7. The ring will come in eight sizes.

The wearable will have various health features that will work in sync with Samsung Health App. These include heart rate tracking, SpO2 tracking, stress management, and more. According to an image shared by Samsung, the ring will also help manage stress, track steps, calories, and distance, and track the menstrual cycle.

AI Features are also expected to arrive in the smart ring. Samsung has confirmed that it will launch in 2024 so, Unpacked Event seems like the right platform for the official announcement.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3

Samsung might finally refresh its Buds lineup during the July event. According to the launch cycle that Samsung follows, the buds were supposed to arrive in 2023 but it didn’t happen. Now, during CES 2024, Samsung showcased a new Galaxy Buds prototype case with an OLED screen, so this might be what the brand is coming up with next. Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 are expected to have better ANC, enhanced audio quality, and more features (Galaxy AI might also be included).

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Series

Samsung might refresh the smartwatch lineup by introducing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Series. The series will include three models- Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, and Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. The watches come with a host of health and fitness features which will further be improved and added in the next generation of smartwatches. Reports claim Samsung might add sleep apnea detection to Watch 7. More will be known as July comes closer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Series

A new tablet series is also expected to roll out during the July Unpacked Event. The rival to Apple’s iPad, Galaxy Tab S-Series by Samsung hasn’t been announced officially, but rumors claim it might be coming. Tablets have mostly arrived in July or August in the past, which feels synonymous with the date of this year’s event as well. The series will include Galaxy Tab S10, Galaxy Tab S10+, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy XR Headset

To compete with Vision Pro and enter into the Mixed Reality headset space, Samsung has been working on its Galaxy XR Headset for a while now. The South Korean tech giant has been working in tandem with Google and Qualcomm to develop its wearable that is expected to arrive in 2024. 9to5Google reports that the headset has been codenamed ‘infinite’ and will launch in 2024 itself. The product showcasing might happen during the July Unpacked event whereas the official launch might take place later in 2024.

Samsung might also unveil a new service, details about which are still under wraps.
