The Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of the event, we have some exciting leaks about the Galaxy Watch 7 and a brand-new Galaxy Watch Ultra, which we previously showcased in renders in collaboration with OnLeaks.

The leak comes from AndroidHeadlines, where they got hold of the comparison between the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Yes, it will be called just the Galaxy Watch Ultra and not the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra.

Galaxy Watch Ultra

Let’s start with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available in a single 47mm size, made from grade 4 titanium, and offered in three colors: Titanium Grey, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Beige.

The display on the Galaxy Watch Ultra will reach a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. Additionally, it will feature a 590 mAh battery, significantly larger than the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The Galaxy Watch Ultra will be powered by a 3nm 5-core Exynos chip for exceptional performance and efficiency.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra will also have 32GB of storage, a notable upgrade from the 16 GB storage on the Galaxy Watch 6 series. It will have an IP58 rating and 10 ATM water resistance, making it the most durable Galaxy Watch to date.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra will be available only in a Bluetooth + LTE model, unlike the Galaxy Watch 7, which will offer both Bluetooth and Bluetooth + LTE options.

When we revealed the renders of the Galaxy Watch Ultra last month, we pointed out that it has a circular button sandwiched between the Home and Back buttons. This turns out to be the Quick button, designed for quick actions.

The Galaxy Watch 7 brings some notable upgrades, too. Starting off, it features the same 3nm 5-core Eyxnos chip as the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It will also have a peak brightness of 2000 nits, offering a substantial upgrade from its predecessor.

The Galaxy Watch 7 will be made of armor aluminium 2 and have IP67 + 5ATM water-resistance for protection from dust and water. It will also have Sapphire Crystal Glass on the front to protect the display.

The battery sizes remain largely unchanged, with the 40mm version featuring a 425 mAh battery and the 44mm version featuring a 300mAh battery. One thing that’s changed is the storage capacity, up from 16 GB on the Galaxy Watch 6 to 32 GB on the Watch 7.

Finally, the Galaxy Watch 7 will be available in two colors: Green and Cream. Just like previous Galaxy Watches, this watch will also be available in both Bluetooth only and Bluetooth + LTE versions.
