Samsung saw resounding success last year when it launched Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3 smartphones. Ever since then, there have been reports about what Samsung would bring in the successor to the series, that is what Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 would have. Latest reports claim that Samsung is working on an improved Ultra-Thin Glass Display technology which will make the Galaxy Z Fold 4 more resistant to scratches.

As per the latest report by Naver, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a more durable version of UTG which is being called Super UTG. The Tech giant is planning on having support for regular S Pens that will not damage the display panel, because of this change. This is an upgrade over the Galaxy Z Fold 3 which was not strong enough to support the regular version of S Pen without causing damage to the display.

For now, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt, but if it actually turns out to be true, then it will make Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 more durable and resistant. This new UTG will solve many prevailing issues related to Galaxy Fold devices. These problems include devices cracking as the main one.
