We have been hearing about Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition for a while now and last week the brand confirmed its launch date as well. Finally, today the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition has been announced by Samsung, and its availability has also been confirmed for select markets. The new foldable will be up for purchase in some markets from next week and comes with a thinner and lighter design than the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6. There are some other improvements as well, but its biggest limitation is its availability which will be confined to the company’s home base as of now.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition comes in a single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version and is priced at KRW 2,789,600 (roughly Rs. 1,70,000) in South Korea. The foldable comes in a Black Shadow color and will be up for purchase from 25th October through Samsung’s website and other online channels like T Direct Shop, KT, EU+, and more.
Those who buy this foldable will get discount coupons for other Samsung devices like Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Ring, and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition: Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage onboard. It features slightly bigger displays than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, with 8-inch internal and 6.5-inch outer screens. The outer and inner displays have a 21:9 and 20:18 aspect ratio, respectively.
The special edition is 1.5mm thinner and 3g lighter than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. In terms of the camera, the foldable has a 200MP main sensor while the rest of the cameras are the same. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition also supports Galaxy AI which is Samsung’s suite of Artificial Intelligence features for smartphones and other devices.
