Samsung Galaxy users and One UI enthusiasts can finally look forward to some positive developments regarding the anticipated One UI 7 Beta Update. Initially, the first Samsung One UI 7 Beta, built on Android 15, was expected to be officially released in July 2024. However, as we reach November, there has been no communication from Samsung regarding the rollout timeline or the eligible devices. Fortunately, reputable tipster Ice Universe has recently provided updated information concerning the release date of the One UI 7 Beta, along with a list of regions where it will be available.

Samsung One UI 7 Beta: Release Date

Ice Universe posted on X, indicating that One UI 7 is expected to launch next week, following November 17. The initial rollout will be for Beta users in South Korea and the United States, with the possibility of availability in these regions as early as November 17. This aligns with Samsung’s typical approach to releasing new software versions.

The availability of One UI 7 Beta remains uncertain regarding its target audience. Initially, it is likely to be accessible exclusively to developers. The possibility of a public beta release is still undetermined. Additionally, there has been no official announcement regarding the launch of One UI 7 Beta in India; however, there are strong speculations that it may debut in the Indian market concurrently with China, the UK, Germany, and Poland in December 2024.

This won’t be the stable version of One UI 7 as Samsung hinted about rolling out the stable version with Samsung Galaxy S25 Series in 2025.

Additionally, user interface components in One UI 7, such as the status bar battery indicator and charging notifications, have been designed with a more rounded appearance.

A notable change includes the introduction of new icons for stock applications such as Camera and Gallery. Reports indicate that the notification tray has been separated from the Control Center. The One UI 7 Beta is anticipated to feature direct toggles for zoom levels within the camera app, a minimized quick shortcuts tray by default, and all the latest features from Android 15.
