Samsung One UI Watch features revealed through a new Galaxy Watch Leak

Samsung will have its next big event named Galaxy Unpacked in the coming month. The company will release a few new items during the event, which include the Galaxy Watch 4 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy S21 FE. As the launch date gets nearer, we’ve been getting many leaks about the upcoming devices.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series, for instance, has shown up online multiple times already, giving us a decent idea of its looks and specifications. The new leaks give us the official teaser trailers of the watches themselves. Take a look —

One UI Watch Features

First and foremost, the videos affirm the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic moniker. The application launcher found in the videos additionally confirms the presence of Google Maps and other Google administrations that tells us the watches will run Wear OS 3 with One UI Watch on top. Moreover, the videos uncover that both watches will feature activity and workout tracking features, a heart-rate monitor, sleep tracking, body fat composition, a compass, and an altimeter. Blood pressure monitoring, ECG, SmartThings Find, and SpO2 monitoring are also part of the mix.

The videos also propose that the Galaxy Watch 4 series will be launched with new watch faces. For instance, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is apparently getting a mechanical watch face which gives it a classy allure.

We also learn from the leak that the watches will let the user customize the watch face backgrounds and widgets. They also tell us that the watches will include Samsung Health, Bixby, and the Google Play Store.

From previous leaks, we know the Galaxy Watch 4 series will highlight a round AMOLED display, the Exynos W920 processor, 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB storage. They will also have an IP68 rating for ingress resistance, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, Qi wireless charging support, rotatable bezel, and a mic plus speaker combo for calls.
