Samsung India announced the launch of the Galaxy S24 FE through a press release on its official website. The latest entrant in the Fan Edition lineup ships with improved hardware, including a new processor, a larger screen, and a longer-lasting battery. While the company hasn’t revealed the pricing yet, it has unveiled all the specifications and features of the Galaxy S24 FE. There’s a lot to cover, so let’s dive right into it.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: Price & Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been launched in two storage configurations in India-
- 8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 59,999
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 65,999
Pre-booking starts today via Samsung.com and leading retail stores. It will go on sale on 3rd October.
As part of pre-booking offers, Samsung is offering 8GB RAM+256GB storage for the price of the 8GB RAM+128GB variant which is Rs. 59,999. Samsung Care+ package worth Rs. 4799 for just Rs. 999. There is No-cost EMI for up to 12 months is also available.
Galaxy S24 FE Design
The handset measures 162.0 X 77.3 X 8.0mm, which makes it taller, wider, and thicker than the Galaxy S24 Plus (review); it is also heavier at 213 grams. The phone also features slightly thicker bezels than the Plus model. The S24 FE is available in five colors: Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint, and Yellow.
Apart from the dimensions, the S24 FE features a recognizable design. The phone has a look similar to modern Android flagships, with a punch-hole display at the front and symmetrical bezels (except for a thicker chin). On the back, there’s a triple-camera system with flushed sensors.

Galaxy S24 FE Specifications
Out of the box, the Galaxy S24 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with an adaptive refresh rate (60Hz/120Hz). Under the hood, the smartphone features the Exynos 2400e (4nm) SoC.
As mentioned in the official press release, the processor offers an “uncompromised gaming experience compatible with cutting-edge features such as Ray Tracing.” To sustain peak performance for longer durations, the S24 FE also features a vapor chamber.
With the capable processor, the smartphone is available in three storage variants: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, all of which ship with 8GB of RAM. While the smartphone runs on One Ui 6.1 based on Android 14, Samsung has promised to offer seven years of operating system and security updates with it (similar to the flagship S24 models).

The Galaxy S24 FE offers several Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search, Interpreter, Live Translate, Composer, and Note Assist. It also features Samsung Knox, the multi-layer security platform that powers the company’s flagship devices.
Regarding optics, the Galaxy S24 FE flaunts a triple-camera setup. While the primary camera features a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) shooter, the ultrawide and telephoto cameras sport a 12MP (f/2.2, 123-degree) and an 8MP (f/2.4, OIS) 3x telephoto sensor, respectively. On the front, users get a 10MP (f/2.4, 80-degrees) selfie shooter.
With capable hardware, the smartphone comes with Samsung’s ProVisual Engine, which uses machine learning and AI to enable features like Nightography, optical quality 2x zoom, and optimized colors in Super High Dynamic Range (HDR). Further, the smartphone has a ton of AI-based photo editing features, such as Generative Edit, Portrait Studio, Edit Suggestions, and Instant Slow-mo.

Powering the handset is a 4,700 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, Fast Wireless Charging, and wireless PowerShare technology. Connectivity options on the Galaxy S24 FE include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth v5.3. Last but not least, the smartphone features an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
