- One UI 7.0 sneak peek and Beta Rollout date are expected.
In 2023, Samsung unveiled the One UI 6.0 at the Samsung Developer Conference aka SDC 2023. Now, it seems like the same might be followed this year as well. After facing a series of delays, the brand might show One UI 7.0 at the SDC 2024 which will be hosted in November. Although the official rollout of the One UI 7.0 will take place in January alongside the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, a first look might show up next month. This year’s SDC will primarily focus on other things but a sneak peak at One UI 7.0 might still be incoming soon.

One UI 7: Expected Features
Samsung One UI 7 will bring a brand new look to Samsung’s Android skin and it will be a major redesign and this is the reason it is taking so long. An unofficial video showcased some of the changes that One UI 7 is getting. The software is being seen installed on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and reveals design improvements like a split Quick Panel. Since the video is not in English, it has to be translated using YouTube Auto Translate to understand key points.
In the video, one can see different app icons for some system apps like Contacts, Camera, and Gallery. Widgets including Battery, Weather, and Device Care have also received a redesign. New widgets can also be spotted like Images, Stories, and Secure WiFi.
The lock screen will allow the users to change the clock’s position and mini widgets. There is also a pill-shaped element at the bottom for emergency calls and charging animation. The notification panel is getting bigger and getting rounded edges too. Since One UI 7 hasn’t been announced yet, the final features aren’t known yet.
