Samsung is taking its AI game to the next level with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. According to Won-Joon Choi, Samsung’s EVP and head of R&D Mobile Experience, the company plans to optimize its Galaxy AI to deliver an enhanced experience on these devices.
Currently, Galaxy AI offers features like Live Translate, Note Assist, Generative Edit, Circle to Search, and more. These are all expected to receive some improvements, which will be first showcased on the Flip 6 and Fold 6.

The biggest highlight? Live Translate will now work with third-party messaging apps and support voice calls. Imagine your WhatsApp or Messenger voice calls being live translated in real-time!
This info comes straight from a newsroom post by Choi, who emphasized that Galaxy AI will deliver a unique AI experience on the new foldables. Samsung is collaborating with various third-party messaging apps to integrate Live Translate, ensuring comprehensive support across different platforms.

In addition to Live Translate, features like Note Assist can also be expected to be improved, making the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 powerful tools for productivity and communication.
Earlier this week, Samsung accidentally leaked promotional images of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, hinting at minimal design changes except for a slightly boxier look for the Fold 6. The official debut is expected on July 10 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, France.
