Samsung to launch two new ‘M’ Series smartphones in India on April 8

Tech giant Samsung is all set to add two new members to its ‘M’ Series of smartphones in the country. Samsung has confirmed that Samsung Galaxy M55 and Samsung Galaxy M15 smartphones will arrive in India on April 8. Both these devices have already been rolled out globally and now they will come to India with different variants.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: Expectations

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will offer up to 1000 nits brightness. Galaxy M55 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

In terms of camera optics, Galaxy M55 has a triple sensor setup at the back including a 50MP primary, 8MP wide-angle, and 2MP depth sensor. The main camera will have Optical Image Stabilization as well. At the front is a 50MP selfie snapper. The smartphone will run Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box and pack a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging capability. Samsung has announced two refreshing shades for Galaxy M55- Light Green and Denim Black.

Samsung Galaxy M15: Expectations/im

Samsung Galaxy M15 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, which is expandable as well. It will flaunt a 6.5-inch FHD+ Infinity V-Super AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.

In terms of the camera, there will be a 50MP main, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensor at the back and a 13MP snapper at the front. It will draw juice from a 6000mAh battery with 25W wired charging and additional features will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Samsung has announced three stylish colors for Galaxy M15- Celestine Blue, Stone Grey, and Blue Topaz.
