Samsung is all set to launch its new foldables later today. During the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung will announce its latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 smartwatch. Among these, Samsung is also expected to surprise us with newer products in the lineup.
The Galaxy Unpacked event for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 is happening in New York City at 10AM ET on July 9. According to Indian Standard Time, the event will be livestreamed at 7:30PM today.

Samsung is hosting a physical Unpacked Event in New York City to unveil the next generation of foldables from the South Korean giant. You can watch the livestream on Samsung’s official YouTube channel start at 7:30PM IST.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked: What to Expect
As mentioned, Samsung will be unveiling its Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, along with the Galaxy Watch 8 series during tonight’s event.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be the slimmest Samsung foldable yet, measuring just 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded. Apart from this, we can expect flagship-level specs from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, at least 12GB RAM, larger outer displays, and a 200-megapixel camera.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also expected to come with improvements across the board. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, however, is expected to come with an Exynos chip, not the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chip that the bigger sibling is expected to get.
Apart from the Fold 7 and Flip 7, Samsung will also bring the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 to the market after tonight’s event. The Galaxy Watch 8 is expected to come with incremental updates over the previous model.
As far as surprises go, we can never rule them out during major launches like this one. According to multiple reports online, there is a slight chance that Samsung may surprise us with two new products – a triple-folding smartphone similar to the Huawei Mate Tri-Fold, along with a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, which will make the flip form factor more affordable, taking the fight to Motorola in the affordable flip phone segment.
